Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. Full-time Night Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week. Additional scheduling requirements will include weekends/holidays/on call hours | Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Available.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

- Provides skilled, compassionate care and coordinates patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Work schedule:  Full-time Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am, 3x12 hour per week. | 16 hours of call in 6-week period |One major one minor holiday | 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period

- Education:  BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

- Experience : Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.

- Certification:  Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire

- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license

Preferred Qualifications:

- (BSN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing

- Two years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an inpatient Labor and Delivery Unit.

- Proficient in Epic
