We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

- Set up applications and onboard supporting infrastructure across development, UAT, pre-production and production environments.

- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments. Create consolidated, single-click production deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and UrbanCode Deploy.

- Configure multi-stage deployment workflows and automate switching between production and pre-production servers.

- Manage application releases, deployment documentation, defect resolution and operational handovers. Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk and Kibana.

- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot application, build, configuration and environment-related issues. Set up, configure and monitor certificates and related application dependencies.

- Automate recurring testing and operational failures to reduce manual effort. Configure and manage batch jobs and scripts using Autosys and shell scripting. Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. Automate infrastructure and application deployment using Ansible, Helm and related DevOps tools.

- Manage source control and artefact repositories, including Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket and Nexus Artifactory. Support testing teams by diagnosing environment and deployment failures. Monitor and manage multiple highly available environments and critical production infrastructure.

- Develop scripts and automated reports for infrastructure analysis and operational reporting.

- Create and maintain configuration management and software change management processes. Collaborate with engineering, testing, operations and business teams to support successful releases. Provide technical guidance, documentation and knowledge transfer to new team members.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- Experience in DevOps, configuration management, release management or production support.

- Strong experience designing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, Ansible, Shell scripting, Linux administration, Git-based source control

- Experience with deployment and release tools.

- Knowledge of artefact management tools such as Nexus Artifactory.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including:

- Splunk, Kibana, ITRS Geneos
