<b>Overview</b><br><p>The Business Conduct Investigation team (BCI), part of Microsoft’s Audit Risk and Compliance (ARC) group, is seeking a talented compliance professional with analytical and communication skills to join our investigations team. The position will be based in Gurgaon, India, will report to the BCI Group Manager based in Beijing, China and will be a key member of the worldwide BCI team.<br><br>Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. </p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><p>• Investigate allegations of business misconduct and policy violations, including allegations relating to fraud and corruption.</p><p>• Collaborate with stakeholders and leverage tools, data analysis, and technology to gather facts effectively and efficiently.</p><p>• Lead or participate in interviews with case parties and subject matter experts.</p><p>• Prioritize effectively, adapt to changing demands, leverage AI tools, and contribute to team and organizational goals.</p><p>• Document activities and work performed in the case management tool.</p><p>• Prepare clear and concise reports that enable company attorneys and outside counsel to make informed findings.</p><p>• Identify actionable insights that can be shared with stakeholders to improve processes, develop business solutions, and mitigate risk.</p><p>• Relevant professional certifications such as CA, CFE, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.</p><p>• Experience conducting investigations within organizations providing audit, finance, legal, HR, compliance, or law enforcement services.</p><p>• Experience working with data analysis, AI, and e-discovery tools and applications.</p><p>• Familiarity with channel distribution concepts and related business processes.</p><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><h3 id="requiredqualificationsrqs">Required Qualifications (RQs)</h3><ul><li>4+ years experience in Compliance, Finance, Data-Analytics, Investigations, or related field<ul style="list-style-type: circle;"><li>OR equivalent experience</li></ul></li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, presentation, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently or with minimal guidance and complete cases/projects in a timely manner in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities, while maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones and travel internationally, when required.</li></ul><h3 id="preferredqualificationspqs">Preferred Qualifications (PQs)</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Criminal Justice, Law, International Relations or related field AND 8+ years experience in Compliance, Cyber Finance, Data-Analytics, Investigations, or related field<ul style="list-style-type: circle;"><li>OR equivalent experience</li></ul></li><li>Relevant professional certification such as CA, CFE, or similar.</li><li>Experience conducting investigations in an organization providing audit, finance, legal, HR, or law enforcement services.</li><li>Experience working with data analysis, AI, and e-discovery tools and applications.</li><li>Familiarity with channel distribution concepts and business processes.</li></ul> <br><p>This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.</p><br><hr><br><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
