We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer .

Business: Asia & Middle East Technology

Principal responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design.

- Develop, enhance and maintain web applications and technology solutions using appropriate programming practices.

- Create automated unit and system integration tests to improve solution quality.

- Build and maintain CI CD pipelines.

- Participate in software releases and provide timely support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Prepare clear documentation for key deliverables and review progress with the line manager.

- Collaborate actively with team members, share knowledge and contribute to a positive working environment.

- Follow applicable policies, procedures, risk requirements and technology controls.

Requirements

- Practical experience delivering web applications or technology solutions in a professional environment.

- Hands-on experience with some or all of the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React and PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CIDCD tools, such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube and Ansible.

- Experience with test automation tools, such as JUnit, Selenium or Cucumber.

- Experience contributing to software delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes, including coding, testing, deployment and production support.

- Strong written English communication skills; confident spoken English would be advantageous.

- A collaborative, accountable and continuous-improvement mindset, with a strong focus on quality and responsible delivery.
