A TechOps Engineer is responsible for the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of production systems supporting a digital streaming platform. The role combines production operations, cloud engineering, incident management, observability, automation, and stakeholder/customer communication in a 24x7 environment

Key Responsibilities
- Manage production operations, service reliability, availability, SLAs/KPIs, and customer-impacting issues.
- Operate and troubleshoot AWS cloud services, Terraform infrastructure, and GitHub-based deployments.
- Monitor and improve observability using Coralogix, New Relic, Grafana, and AWS monitoring tools.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management, including RCA, escalations, and post-incident actions.
- Develop Python/script-based automation and leverage AI/LLMs for operational efficiency and incident analysis.
- Drive continuous service improvement through monitoring, automation, runbooks, resilience, and stakeholder management.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience operating production systems in a cloud environment, preferably AWS .
- Working knowledge of GitHub, Terraform, SQL, APIs, and CI/CD/deployment concepts.
- Practical experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Coralogix, New Relic, Grafana, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Strong incident-management experience, including handling P1/P2 or other high-severity issues.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and tooling such as Jira.
- Scripting experience, particularly Python; exposure to AI/LLM tools and automation is desirable.
- Experience in digital media, streaming, OTT, or other high-availability consumer platforms is highly valuable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical and senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to participate in a 24x7 operational roster, including nights, weekends, and on-call support.
