About this role

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead annual brand reviews, strategic workshops, and long-term portfolio growth planning; define annual brand strategies, business objectives, and A&P investment priorities.

• Drive consumer-led growth strategies by identifying emerging consumer trends, cultural shifts, and market opportunities through deep collaboration with insights team; translate insights into actionable innovation and growth roadmaps.

• Develop and lead social, content, and influence-led marketing ecosystems; build scalable content strategies that drive ongoing consumer engagement across creators, influencers, and communities.

• Translate global brand positioning into locally relevant China activation strategies; lead integrated campaigns connecting brand storytelling, consumer experience, social content, media, and L3F touchpoints.

• Partner with Trade Marketing and Commercial teams to develop channel activation frameworks and ensure seamless strategy-to-execution across all regions and channels.

• Establish clear M&E frameworks across major initiatives; manage A&P budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI and challenging partners to deliver value.

• Support VP Marketing in delivering strategic priorities; lead cross-functional project teams and strategic initiatives.

• Build, coach and inspire high-performing teams; develop marketing capabilities and drive a collaborative, consumer-centric culture.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above; 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with preference for beauty industry or Chinese local lifestyle brands.

• Proven track record of delivering brand growth, unlocking new market opportunities, and driving portfolio performance.

• Deep expertise in social-first, influence-led, and content-driven marketing with a strong grasp of emerging technologies and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial management skills with experience managing P&L and investment prioritization.

• Demonstrated people leadership, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
