Job Description
General Purpose of Job : The Business Operations Coordinator which may include, but not limited to: offering assistance in managing the substance abuse testing programs maintained by Sparrow Occupational Health Services for its customers, being a central information source for OHS information, data and reports, assists Marketing Representative with Business Relationships, and maintains current profiles and develops new company profiles for all OHS client companies.
Essential Duties :
- Enters and maintains all business profiles for OHS. This includes designing, upgrading, and maintaining the completeness of all company information and procedure specifics.
- Enters and maintains financial records and data for leaders and company customers and acts as a liaison with Sparrow PFS and Accounting.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Invoicing and coding for certain sites offering Occupational Health Services.
- Assists department leaders with management of AP/AR for the department
- Works with occupational health team and PCS to ensure billing and collections are appropriately managed
- Works in collaboration with OH team in marketing services and determining competitive pricing
- Assist in management of substance abuse program including but not limited to: Performing random drug pools per company request and offering training to all OH sites as needed
- Assist with timekeeping of staff.

Job Requirements
General Requirements
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point) Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to make sound independent judgments and work independently and efficiently. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Strong teamwork and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job.
Education
Associate degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field or High school diploma/GED and 2 years experience with health care data management and reporting.
