Job Description

- Design, develop, implement, and test software solutions supporting CYB MNT activities, including vulnerability management, automation, reporting, and cybersecurity operations.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and define technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Support the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Guide and mentor software development team members regarding development practices, architecture, and technical approaches.
- Collaborate closely with Cyber Security Managers and Team Leads to ensure software solutions are aligned with customer needs and cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software architecture documentation, coding standards, project documentation, and operational procedures.
- Promote best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and CI/CD processes.
- Support the improvement and automation of existing processes through innovative software solutions.

Qualifications

Necessary Technical Skills

- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent level of education.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or proven experience in software development and software architecture.
- Strong knowledge of software design architecture, full-stack development, Agile methodologies, OOP, and CI/CD practices.
- Deep knowledge of Python, including frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask) and libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Git, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
- Administration experience with both Linux and Windows environments.

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

- Knowledge of networking protocols and security/encryption standards.
- Active Directory administration experience.
- Understanding of security frameworks and industry compliance standards.
- Experience in cybersecurity architecture or vulnerability management is a big plus.

- Ability to understand complex concepts and quickly adapt to new projects and technologies; proactive attitude with a strong willingness to self-study.

- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
