At BBH, Partnership is more than a form of ownership—it’s our approach to business and relationships.  We know that supporting your professional and personal goals is the best way to help our clients and advance our business. We take that responsibility seriously. With a 200-year legacy and a shared passion for what’s next, this is the right place to build a fulfilling career.

ROLE PURPOSE

Lead the strategy, prioritization and delivery of product initiatives that span multiple Asset Servicing product pillars, including Transfer Agency, Fund Services, Custody, Alternatives and ETF Servicing.

Translate enterprise and client needs into integrated, scalable solutions, aligning product leaders around a common strategy and roadmap and delivering commercial, client, operational and risk outcomes across the end-to-end service model.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Asset Servicing Product Cross-Functional Head is accountable for complex product opportunities and strategic initiatives requiring an integrated response across multiple Asset Servicing pillars.

Working in partnership with Asset Servicing Product Leaders across Transfer Agency, Fund Services, Custody, Alternatives and ETF Servicing, the role will bring capabilities from different product areas together to establish the cross-pillar vision, business case, delivery model and governance required to move initiatives from concept through implementation and ongoing value realization.

This is a senior product leadership role requiring broad Asset Servicing expertise, strong commercial judgement and the ability to lead through influence across Product, Technology, Service Delivery, Client Management, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance.

The role will identify and resolve competing priorities, manage interdependencies and ensure that integrated solutions deliver a consistent client experience while making effective use of common platforms, data and operating capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cross-Pillar Product Strategy and Portfolio Leadership

- Identify opportunities where an integrated response across two or more product pillars can create greater client, commercial or operational value than separate pillar-led solutions.
- Develop and maintain a cross-pillar product portfolio and roadmap, balancing strategic priorities, client commitments, regulatory requirements, investment capacity and execution risk.
- Partner with Product Leaders to establish clear accountability between individual product pillars and cross-functional initiatives.
- Provide enterprise-level direction and intervention where required to resolve dependencies, competing priorities or strategic decisions.
- Ensure that cross-pillar initiatives remain aligned to the broader Asset Servicing product strategy and business objectives.

Product Development and Program Execution

- Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and design through approval, implementation, launch, adoption and post-implementation review.
- Establish appropriate governance across product pillars, including decision rights, executive sponsorship, funding, dependency management, risk escalation and transparent reporting.
- Develop robust business cases and delivery plans, ensuring initiatives have clearly defined objectives, outcomes, investment requirements and measures of success.
- Drive effective execution across business, operations and technology, ensuring that key dependencies and delivery risks are identified and actively managed.

Commercial and Client Leadership

- Validate market and client needs through structured engagement with clients, prospects, relationship teams, service delivery and relevant industry sources.
- Support strategic client opportunities requiring an integrated Asset Servicing response, balancing client requirements with scalability, commercial viability and operational sustainability.
- Translate complex client and market requirements into scalable product propositions and executable roadmaps.
- Represent cross-pillar Asset Servicing capabilities with senior clients, prospects and relevant industry forums.
- Partner with Sales and Client Management to identify opportunities for revenue growth, retention and broader client relationships.

Risk, Regulatory and Operating Model

- Ensure appropriate risk management, controls and approvals are incorporated into new or non-standard services and material change initiatives.
- Navigate applicable new product, service, pricing, legal, compliance, architecture and investment approval processes.
- Assess regulatory, market and industry developments that impact multiple product pillars and coordinate an appropriate Asset Servicing response.
- Ensure proposed solutions are aligned to the firm’s risk appetite, operating model and control environment.
- Promote scalable solutions that appropriately balance client requirements, commercial opportunity, operational efficiency and risk.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

- Build alignment among senior Product, Technology, Service Delivery, Client Management and other functional leaders, using influence and strong stakeholder management rather than relying solely on direct authority.
- Create a high-accountability culture focused on clear outcomes, constructive challenge and fact-based decision-making.
- Coach and develop Product Managers and project leads involved in cross-pillar initiatives, strengthening product management capability and discipline across Asset Servicing.
- Provide concise, decision-oriented updates and recommendations to executive sponsors and governance forums.
- Act as a connector across regions, product pillars and functions, ensuring local requirements inform global solutions while maintaining consistency, scalability and effective use of common capabilities.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Significant product leadership experience within Asset Servicing, securities services, fund administration or a closely related financial services environment.
- Broad experience across multiple Asset Servicing capabilities. Experience spanning Transfer Agency, Fund Services, Custody, Alternatives, ETF Servicing and adjacent products is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional and multi-year product, transformation or strategic initiatives across business, operations and technology.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, investment cases, operating models, data and workflow design, and the full product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with senior clients and translating complex requirements into scalable product solutions and executable roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of risk, control, regulatory and governance requirements relating to new products, services and material change.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across multiple functions and business areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and influence executive-level decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications are advantageous.

SUCCESS MEASURES

- Delivery of a clear and coherent cross-pillar product strategy, portfolio and roadmap.
- Effective reuse of common capabilities and reduction of fragmented or duplicative solutions.
- Delivery against approved business cases, milestones, investment and risk parameters.
- Increased client adoption and retention and achievement of appropriate commercial outcomes.
- Improved scalability, operating efficiency and effective use of common platforms, data and capabilities.
- Effective management of cross-pillar dependencies, risks and governance.
