We are seeking a Senior or Principal Process Engineer with expertise in clean water and municipal drinking water treatment to join our growing Water team.  You will help to lead the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and technically excellent solutions across a diverse portfolio of clean water and municipal drinking water treatment projects, water resource, resilience, and infrastructure programmes for major UK water sector clients.

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based. This position can be based from any of our major offices of London Nova, Epsom, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, or Glasgow.

Your role

The role offers broad project exposure, technical development, and clear opportunities for progression within a collaborative and growing team.

You will:

- Lead the delivery of process engineering solutions for water and environmental projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes.
- Act as a technical lead, providing guidance, assurance, and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
- Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packages.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
- Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.
- Help identify opportunities that create additional value for clients and communities.

About you

We're interested in people who are technically strong, commercially aware and genuinely enjoy collaborative working.  You will bring a willingness to learn, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work collaboratively within diverse project teams.

You’ll ideally bring:

- A degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered or Incorporated status with IChemE or an equivalent institution OR extensive experience and the ability to become chartered within 12 months.
- Proven experience working within multidisciplinary project environments and leading Process technical delivery within the UK Water sector.
- Knowledge in drinking water treatment process and principles in conventional and advanced treatment technologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- A commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.

Security clearance
