About this role
The Technical Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procuring technical, engineering, machining, and raw materials while ensuring optimal cost, quality, and on-time delivery. The role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and suppliers to support business requirements, project timelines, and continuous operational efficiency.
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing.
• Experience purchasing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, automation, or industrial components.
Desired
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, or Dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
