Are you a versatile marketer who enjoys connecting brand awareness with sales pipeline growth? We are looking for a proactive, analytical Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. If you are equally comfortable building email workflows, launching LinkedIn advertising campaigns, and writing compelling GEO-optimised articles, this could be the role for you.

You will lead a broad range of digital marketing initiatives focused on generating high-quality B2B leads to support our marketing and sales teams primarily in Wood and Energy business. Your work will help accelerate growth and build demand for Stora Enso’s products and solutions through data-driven, customer-centric digital marketing.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will develop and optimise digital campaigns, channels, and marketing automation activities, translating insights into actions that support commercial success and deepen customer engagement. Your will be part of our Digital engagement team and collaborate closely with colleagues across Group functions and business areas.

Your key responsibilities

- Optimise the digital customer journey: Help to develop and improve our digital marketing ecosystem, using data, technology, and customer insights
- Manage multi-channel campaigns : Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across channels with support of external vendors (social, search, web, email and occasionally webinars and other events).
- Generate and nurture leads: Build, manage, and optimise automated email marketing and lead-generation programmes that create new business opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
- Create compelling content: Write and coordinate engaging brand-aligned content for our website, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
- Improve website, SEO, and GEO performance: Continuously develop our marketing related website content and optimise it for search engines and AI-powered discovery to attract high-intent commercial traffic.
- Track and improve performance: Monitor campaign and channel effectiveness—from impressions to marketing-qualified leads—and turn data into actionable insights and recommendations for the team.

What we are looking for

- Minimum of four years of experience in a broad marketing role, ideally in an international B2B environment.
- A strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, channels, and tools, and the ability to develop solutions that respond to evolving customer needs and digital behaviours.
- A data-driven mindset and the ability to analyse performance metrics, translate data into clear recommendations.
- Experience in knowledge sharing, with the confidence to communicate insights that educate the organisation and build stakeholder buy-in.
- Strong content creation skills, with the ability to plan, produce, and adapt compelling content for websites, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
- Proven experience in planning, managing, and optimising the performance of digital channels and multi-channel marketing campaigns using data.
- Practical experience with the following tools and platforms: Marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, and Microsoft Dynamics), including campaign execution, lead nurturing, email marketing, and performance tracking.
- Analytics tools (e.g. Hotjar and Google Analytics 4).
- Content management systems (e.g. Sitecore) for creating, managing, and optimising digital content.
- Paid media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads).

- Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to improve content creation, campaign optimisation, customer insights, and marketing efficiency, together with sound judgement and a responsible approach to data, quality, and brand integrity.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Swedish, Finnish, or German is an advantage.
