Job Description:

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE - Pharmacy

Polar Speed UPS, Site 1, Chartmoor Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 4WG

Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours per week - split shifts each week, 8am to 4.30pm and 9.30am to 6pm

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

Deal directly with customers by phone and email

Respond promptly to customer enquiries and raise customer complaints where approriate

Provide pricing and delivery information

Order processing and invoicing

Communicate and collaborate with all internal departments

Update and maintain accurate patient records on the patient database

Recognise and report adverse events in accordance with SOP and within the specified timeline

Rotate around the treatment therapies to develop a full skill set in all functions of the departent

Perform any general administration duties required to ensure the smooth running of the department

Additonal tasks may be requested by the Team Leader or Seniors, when approriate to the skills and responsibilities of a Customer Service Associate

Specialised Knowledge and Requirements:

Excellent telephone manner

Excellent organisational skills, show initiative and be proactive

Good working knowledge of IT packages: Word, Excel, Polar Track, Internet/Intranet, Teams, Masternaut

Must have a good eye for detail, be able to work well under pressure, and be a quick learner

Must be able to build effective working relationships with management and Seniors/Team Leaders, and communicate and collaborate with all internal departments

Team player mentality with the ability to work on own initiative and influence others

Must appreciate the need for retaining confientiality
