ADVERTISING TITLE: SYSTEMS PROJECT ANALYST
This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Region II in Academic Services II, in the Office of Programs and Re-Entry.
The purpose of the Systems Project Analyst is to oversee, implement, and support educational technology programs by managing resources, training staff, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the effective use and evaluation of instructional technology.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES:
- Implements and manages educational technology programs and resources according to current policies.
- Trains staff on how to use and maintain learning labs and technology services.
- Coordinates with local IT and technology vendors about educational technology needs.
- Works with regional administrators to handle budgets and spending for technology resources.
- Visits sites and helps evaluate how well instructional technology programs are working.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess experience in instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques, design of individual development plans, and test design principles.
- Must possess experience in operating a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, interactive whiteboards, tablet-based technologies, data projectors, and other current technology solutions.
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
