The Role

In this enterprise security and governance leadership role, you will direct and execute SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives across complex SAP landscapes. Utilizing deep technical expertise in SAP GRC Access Control, compliance management, and risk mitigation strategies, you will strengthen security governance and ensure continuous audit readiness. You will partner closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, internal and external auditors, and SAP Basis, Security, and application teams to implement robust access controls and uphold strict compliance standards across all SAP environments.

Responsibilities:

- SAP GRC Leadership: Lead core SAP GRC Access Control modules and activities, including ARA, ARM, EAM, and BRM.
- Risk & SoD Analysis: Perform comprehensive Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and actively support risk remediation efforts.
- Access Governance: Oversee user access reviews, firefighter access management, compliance monitoring, and role governance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with SAP Security, Basis, and functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Assist internal and external audits by providing required evidence, documentation, and compliance metrics.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Participate in routine risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations for effective mitigation controls.
- System Enhancements: Drive governance standards and best practices while supporting the implementation, enhancement, and upgrade of SAP GRC solutions.
- Reporting & Mentorship: Prepare compliance dashboards for management updates, resolve technical compliance issues, and provide SME guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 8+ years of SAP GRC/SAP Security experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with : SAP GRC Access Control , ARA (Access Risk Analysis) , ARM (Access Request Management) , EAM (Emergency Access Management) , BRM (Business Role Management)
- Strong understanding of SAP Security concepts and authorization design.
- Experience supporting SOX and compliance-driven environments.
- Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori security concepts.
- Experience working with auditors and compliance teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- SAP GRC certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Exposure to cloud and hybrid SAP environments is a plus.
- Experience in regulated enterprise environments.
