## About the role
Are you passionate about food regulations and ensuring products meet the highest compliance standards?
We're looking for a Regulatory Scientist to join our team in Naas, supporting the successful launch and compliance of food and beverage products across Europe and the UK. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, providing expert guidance on labelling, regulatory requirements, and tariff classification while helping the business navigate an evolving regulatory landscape.
## Key responsibilities
- Review and approve food labels for B2B and consumer products across Europe and the UK.
- Create and maintain label templates using Loftware.
- Assess and assign tariff codes for raw materials and finished products.
- Provide practical regulatory guidance and support to internal teams.
- Lead projects related to regulatory changes and implementation.
- Monitor emerging legislation and regulatory trends that could impact the business.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers across the business.
## Qualifications and skills
- A degree in Food Science or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Regulatory Affairs, QA, or RD&A within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food labelling regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tariff classification, packaging legislation, or Loftware would be advantageous.
