Research Data Manager Lead

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 123 S Justison Street, Suite #200, Wilmington, DE 19801.

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Research Data Manager Lead is responsible for leading data management activities for retrospective, prospective, and clinical research projects.

How You Will Make an Impact:

- Develop and manage data collection and abstraction processes for medical chart abstraction, survey research, and clinical research studies to collect information from physicians and patients for Carelon Research clients.

- Coordinate and participate in the development and design of questionnaires used to conduct patient and physician surveys as well as case report forms used for medical chart abstraction and research data collected by investigative sites.

- Manage and coordinate data collection and management activities for assigned research projects.

- Develop standard operating procedures and monitor and conduct reviews to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, client specifications, contractual scope of work and regulatory agency guidelines.

- Lead process for identifying, selecting and contracting third-party service providers as needed for medical chart abstraction, survey conduct, or clinical research.

- Manage data collection project management.

- Conduct data reviews for completeness and consistency.

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Sociology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field of study.

- Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Experience Requirements:

- Five (5) years of clinical research or health sciences experience must include:

- electronic data management systems;

- clinical data management, including data management leadership and late phase research;

- leading and managing data management projects;

- SAS

Alternate Education:

- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Sociology, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field of study and
- Three (3) years of clinical research or health sciences experience. Must have skills listed above.
