About this role

Amentum is seeking a Laboratory/Field Equipment Technician to operate and maintain specialized equipment used for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing and certification. Bring your expertise and perform hands-on tasks focused on keeping test equipment running smoothly and executing specific parts of a test plan under the guidance of senior engineers.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic laboratory work.
- Maintain equipment calibration and inventory.
- Troubleshoot electronic equipment and completes repairs.
- Assist with the execution of designed test plans.

Minimum Requirements:

- Five (5) years of experience in E3 related laboratory or field test environment.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: Experience in practical aspects of test, evaluation, and integration related to configuration management of RF systems.

- Experience performing E3 related laboratory or field tests.
- Experience with test equipment; Configuration Control; Equipment Calibration; Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) Inventory; Laboratory Operations; or DD Form 1149.

Preferred Qualifications:

- U.S. Navy Surface Ship Combat/Weapons System experience, operations, and understanding
- Experience with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and time domain reflectometers (TDRs)

Compensation Details:
$70,000 to $80,000
