ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our Salt Lake City team as a Maintenance Technician A on the night shift, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position is ideal for an experienced industrial maintenance professional with strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills who is passionate about reliability-centered maintenance and predictive maintenance technologies.

Night shift: Monday-Thursday; 4pm-2:30am

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience

- Must be able to work 4 pm-2:30 am M-Thurs, occasionally M-Fri

- Proven mechanical skills

- Proven electrical skills

- Proven pneumatic skills

- Knowledgeable on high speed automated manufacturing equipment

- Experience with CMMS systems

- Respond to radio calls and investigate and correct production line issues

- Work with the other night shift mechanics on equipment repairs, especially when the line is down

- Complete assigned PMs and work orders through the CMMS

- Must have experience with one or more predictive maintenance technologies; vibration, lube oil sampling and analysis, infrared inspection (IR), ultrasonic energy data collection and analysis (UE)

- Certifications in any predictive maintenance technology a huge plus

- Must be willing to expand knowledge in predictive maintenance technologies

- Passionate about condition monitoring and reliability centered maintenance

- Extremely organized and meticulous

- At times, must be able to work on your own and organize your daily schedule

- Create and present reports to your supervisor and manager

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree [GED] required

- Min 5 years prior experience in similar role

- General mechanical / electrical component knowledge

- Computer software applications experience required (i.e., MS Office, ERP, etc.)

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress and offering solutions to resolve issues

- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Highly professional and dependable; safety and customer service oriented

- Proactive; foresee shortcomings and risks associated with parts, supplies and consumables. Formulate a plan to avoid the risks.

- Self-motived

- Work in changing temperature environment (hot or cold)

- Able to work with PPE requirements

- Able to lift 50 lbs

- Able to walk, stand or sit for long periods of time
