YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for a Welder to join our team in Brampton, ON.

In this role, you'll weld pipe products, primarily in stainless steel and carbon steel, setting up fixtures and welding equipment and making sure every weld meets our quality standards before it moves to the next stage.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across a range of welding processes, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN

•    Weld carbon steel pipe primarily using Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and use Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) where FCAW is not feasible.

•    Complete all stainless steel welds using SMAW, following company procedures.

•    Set up fixtures and welding equipment, and perform all welds in the 1G position using fixtures and rotating equipment.

•    Ensure welds are clean, smooth, and inspected, and repair any defects before the product moves to the next stage.

•    Stamp all carbon steel fittings for traceability, and apply additional stamps as needed.

•    Work to technical drawings and specifications on every welding task.

•    Accurately complete and submit inspection and other required records daily.

•    Tag materials with in-process tags in line with ISO requirements.

•    Make effective use of smoke and fume removal systems.

•    Keep calibration stickers on welding machines up to date.

•    Use flame-cutting equipment when instructed.

•    Keep your workspace neat and organized, following FEM and LEAN manufacturing principles.

•    Follow all company procedures and safety protocols, and report any unsafe equipment immediately, locking it out until repairs are completed.

WHAT YOU BRING

•    CWB or TSSA certification.

•    5+ years of experience in a pipe fabrication environment.

•    Proficiency in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) for carbon steel.

•    Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) for carbon and stainless steel.

•    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

•    Competence in operating hand and power tools safely.

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•    Comfortable working in a PPE-required environment, including a welding helmet (minimum shade 11), hearing protection, Met-Guard type safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves and face shield as required.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

•    Experience with MIG aluminum welding.
