Cell Lead
About the role:
The Cell Lead is responsible for the performance of allocated lines, including safety at work, quality, reliability, production plan execution, productivity and costs for production execution.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the planning, coordination, and execution of production activities in the Primary area, with a focus on safety, reliability, loss elimination, and team capability development.
- Ensures in due time the execution of production orders according to the production plan for the allocated lines.
- Allocates the necessary resources and initiates prompt actions to ensure the execution of the production plan, in line with procedures & quality standards.
- Supports and participates in continuous improvement implementation activities together with the team.
- Leads and schedules maintenance actions for the week.
- Ensures the performance of daily activities in the specific application and follows the procedures in force regarding team management.
- Is responsible for the continuous improvement of the capability of subordinates and communicates with their direct manager to determine their needs for professional training by assessing their competencies.
- Leads and develops the competencies of the mechanics and technicians team.
- Coordinates the continuous improvement process and supports the implementation of IWS standards.
- Spends more than 70% of worktime in the production unit.
Requirements:
Education : University Degree (technical field represents an advantage)
Work Experience : Min. 2 years in activities related with production coordination / management
Language : English (good writing & speaking skills)
Other skills and knowledge:
- Good knowledge of manufacturing process performance, production planning, machine operation
- Knowledge and understanding of specific EHS, Quality Management, Finance, Logistics processes
- Computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel); SAP knowledge is considered an advantage
- Experience with SCADA systems is considered an advantage
- Very good planning & organizing skills
- Project management abilities
- Team management skills
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- Effective collaboration across functions
- Managing priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
