JOB OVERVIEW:
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and delivery of our learning programs, with particular ownership of the Workday Learning platform.
You’ll help create learning program designs into smooth, engaging and well-managed experiences for employees. This includes building and maintaining learning content, managing enrolment and learner audiences, coordinating program logistics, producing reporting and supporting the delivery of onboarding, leadership development, performance-cycle and skills-building initiatives.
Working closely with L&D program leads, People Partners, subject-matter experts and the Workday systems team, you’ll make sure programs are delivered effectively from initial setup through to launch, reporting and ongoing improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own the day-to-day administration of Workday Learning, including courses, programs, campaigns, audiences, enrollments and blended learning, while partnering with the Workday systems team on configuration, launches and issue resolution.
- Maintain and improve learning content and program materials, including updating existing digital learning, facilitation guides and LMS catalogue content, and coordinating regular content reviews and archiving.
- Produce training completion, participation and program reporting, and coordinate surveys and assessments to help measure learner engagement and support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the delivery of learning programs, including onboarding and in-person events, managing schedules, invitations, attendance, venues, AV, materials and other learner logistics.
- Manage learning projects from development through launch, coordinating plans, deadlines, stakeholder and SME input, reviews, approvals, learner communications and follow-up activity.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong experience administering a learning management system within a learning, development or People environment; experience with Workday Learning would be particularly useful.
- Experience managing learner enrolments, audiences, courses or campaigns, alongside producing training completion, participation or program-effectiveness reporting.
- Strong project and program coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines and recurring operational activity with close attention to detail.
- Clear written communication skills and confidence creating learner- and stakeholder-facing communications. Experience with e-learning authoring, survey, assessment or project-management tools would be helpful.
- An interest in using technology to improve learning delivery. Experience with tools such as Articulate, Easygenerator, Asana or AI-assisted content-development tools, as well as exposure to leadership development, performance-cycle or in-person learning programs, would be beneficial but is not essential.
