MOBEN & ROOSTER is a French company specializing in engineering consultancy and software solutions for complex industrial projects .
We support major players in the energy and process industries on projects in France and internationally, with particular expertise in the critical phases of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up .
As part of our collaboration with SPIE GSE , we are currently looking for a Commissioning Superintendent Engineer to join the CEYHAN Project in Turkey , a major project within the petrochemical industry.
Your Role
Reporting to the project Commissioning Management team, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination and field supervision of commissioning activities .
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating pre-commissioning and commissioning activities within your assigned scope;
- Organizing commissioning teams and coordinating day-to-day activities across the different disciplines;
- Ensuring that activities are performed in accordance with the project’s commissioning procedures, priorities and sequences ;
- Coordinating interfaces between Construction, Commissioning, Engineering and Operations teams;
- Ensuring systems and subsystems are ready prior to their handover to the commissioning teams;
- Participating in system completion, turnover and handover activities;
- Supervising functional testing and the various operations required for successful commissioning;
- Managing punch lists , identifying critical issues and coordinating their resolution;
- Ensuring full compliance with HSE and Quality requirements throughout commissioning activities;
- Monitoring daily progress and anticipating requirements in terms of manpower, equipment and resources;
- Participating in coordination meetings and providing accurate progress reporting to the Commissioning Manager;
- Supporting start-up preparation and assisting the teams during plant start-up.
Your Profile
You are an experienced Engineer or Senior Technician with a strong background in commissioning on major industrial projects , including significant experience in field supervision and coordination positions.
Previous experience within the petrochemical industry is mandatory .
Experience with Polypropylene (PP) and/or Polyethylene (PE) units would be a significant advantage.
You have a strong understanding of pre-commissioning, commissioning, system completion, handover and start-up preparation activities.
You are accustomed to working on large-scale international construction sites and are comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing interfaces between different stakeholders and driving activities in line with project priorities.
Strong field leadership, problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues will be essential to succeed in this position.
Professional/fluent English is mandatory , as the assignment will be carried out in a fully international environment.
