About this role

Cassia, a nonprofit, mission-driven senior living organization, is hiring an  Executive Director Float  to join our team! This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships, and making an immediate impact. In this traveling role, you’ll step in during times of transition to provide stability, support our teams, and ensure our residents continue to receive the exceptional care and service they deserve.

As the   Executive Director Float , you’ll oversee daily operations, foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards. You may support communities serving residents in Skilled Nursing , Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. An active Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license is required, with both LALD and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) licensure preferred. Position Type:  Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Wage Range:  $120,000 - $150,000   annually depending on experience and licensure

Location:   7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN, 55439. 
Based at our Home Office in Edina, with travel to Cassia communities as needed.  Out-of-state travel may be a possibility.

Executive Director Float Responsibilities:

- Provide interim Executive Director leadership at Cassia communities which may include Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing or Memory Care.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the senior living community.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to department leaders and staff during periods of transition.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Oversee facility financial performance and operational goals.
- Oversee staff development, hiring practices, training, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, as well as Cassia policies and procedures.
- Assess community needs, establish priorities, and address operational concerns.
- Provide consistent communication and leadership to promote stability and continuity within the community.
- Partner with Cassia leadership to support community goals and initiatives.

Executive Director Float Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license required.
- Active Minnesota Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in addition to LALD preferred, but not required.
- BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of senior living operations and regulatory requirements.
- Previous staff supervisory and leadership experience.
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable leading communities through periods of transition.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Cassia communities as needed.
