Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience required.
- Previous Charge Experience preferred.
- Strong MS/Tele and Ortho skills required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Dysrhythmia certified, NIHSS.
- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred.
- Community Hospital Experience preferred.
- Active SC license or multistate license required.
- First-time Travelers accepted.
Required Clinical Skills :
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams preferred
- Work Settings: MS/Tele
- Clinical Skills: Must have Ortho experience.
- Patient Diagnosis: Includes Med/Surg, Tele, cardiac, low-risk ACS, TIAs, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, dehydration, chest pain, DVT, & PE
- Special Procedures: Bedside lumbar puncture/ Post cath (radial/femoral), Clean or no interventions/ Post-surgical/Post renal biopsy/CT Angio/Heparin drips.
- Special Equipment: Telemetry/bedside pulse oximetry/dinamaps/glucometers.
Schedule:
- Shift hours: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other, 6 weekend shifts
- Required Float as needed.
