You will lead daily operations to ensure our HR processes run seamlessly-including payroll processing, benefits and leave administration, and recruitment . Essential Functions
The Human Resources Partner serves as a vital resource by providing guidance on company policies, procedures, programs, benefits, and payroll questions, while managing comprehensive leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD) to ensure full compliance and proper documentation. This role drives the talent acquisition process by managing job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, job offers, new hire orientation, and overall onboarding experiences. Operationally, the position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records within the HRIS , analyzing metrics to update leadership on trends, and managing monthly benefit invoice audits , funding, and vendor resolutions. Additionally, the partner processes bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll -including timecard reviews, journal entries, and the administration of garnishments and Friend of the Court (FOC) orders -while leading benefits administration for open enrollments and employee education. Complying with all federal, state, and local employment laws, this onsite role supports training coordination, contributes to process-improvement initiatives, and performs other duties as assigned with a high level of punctuality and regular attendance .
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of HR generalist or related experience
- 2-year college degree or equivalent; BA preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Knowledge of HR best practices
- Strong research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience processing payroll
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with an HRIS
- Experience with benefits administration
Preferred:
- Experience with Paylocity
- General knowledge of accounting principles and GL structure
