Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior ServiceNow Developer with at least seven years of experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB, with additional experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

The candidate will work with architects, platform owners, process teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with platform standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
Build and enhance ITSM workflows, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
Develop ITOM capabilities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and integrations with monitoring tools.
Maintain CMDB data quality, including CI identification and reconciliation, relationships, normalization, and health reporting.
Configure and enhance TPRM capabilities, including vendor onboarding, risk assessments, questionnaires, issues, workflows, and reporting.
Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, spokes, MID Servers, and other appropriate integration patterns.
Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer flows, Catalog Items, and notifications.
Apply platform security controls, including ACLs, roles, groups, and data access rules.
Support deployments through update sets or application repositories, and follow development, testing, and release management practices.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
Participate in requirements discussions, solution design, code reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Follow secure development practices and support compliance needs in regulated environments, including FedRAMP-aligned ServiceNow environments.
Collaborate with platform and security teams to maintain separation of duties, access controls, auditability, and change traceability.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong development experience with JavaScript and the ServiceNow scripting framework.
Practical experience delivering solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB.
Experience configuring and supporting TPRM workflows and risk management processes.
Experience with Discovery, MID Server configuration, CI identification and reconciliation, and CMDB relationships.
Experience building and consuming REST or SOAP integrations.
Proficiency with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, and Service Catalog.
Understanding of ServiceNow upgrade, testing, deployment, and release management practices.
Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or relevant CIS certifications.
Experience with ServiceNow TPRM, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), or Vendor Risk Management implementations.
Experience with Service Mapping, Event Management, Service Graph Connectors, or CMDB Workspace.
Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF), Performance Analytics, source control, and automated deployment practices.
Experience working in Agile delivery teams and supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
