About this role
Denver, CO - We’re seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to keep the right products in stock at the right time while optimizing inventory investment, cash flow, and profitability. You’ll partner with Merchandising, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Logistics, and Finance (FAST) to turn data into decisions that support business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain rolling forecasts for existing products, new launches, seasonal programs, and variants, and improve forecast accuracy over time.
- Translate forecasts into inventory and purchasing plans that balance customer demand, inventory health, supplier lead times, and working capital.
- Lead seasonal inventory planning, including Q4 readiness and 6-18 month strategies.
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, from placement and approvals to production tracking and delivery, coordinating with Logistics on inbound and international freight.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and supplier inventory levels, and maintain inventory data in Magento.
- Develop runout projections and buy plans that mitigate out-of-stock, excess, and obsolete inventory risks, including recommending exit strategies for sunset SKUs.
- Support inventory cash planning with Operations and FAST, and recommend purchasing adjustments based on actuals versus forecast.
- Lead tariff planning and cost impact analysis, and support product costing, including annual standard cost updates and new product costing with Strategic Sourcing.
- Audit and process vendor invoices, and conduct product and freight margin analysis to find cost and profitability opportunities.
- Build Looker dashboards, report on KPIs and OKRs, and deliver business reviews that inform annual operating plans and long-term strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance through process improvements and automation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, materials management, demand forecasting, supply chain, or operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into business decisions
- Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, and ERP or inventory management systems
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Strong understanding of costing, margin analysis, and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- AI-supported forecasting tools
- S&OP or integrated business planning experience
