Bupa Place (Salford Quays, M50 3SP)

Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Full time (37.5 hours)

As our FP&A Manager , you'll be at the centre of that work. Supporting executive and finance leadership teams, you'll provide insight into the cost of running key business functions and help shape the financial decisions that support Bupa's future growth.

This role offers excellent exposure across the business, with responsibility for analysing and reporting on a functional and central cost base of around £300m. You'll lead reporting improvements, drive automation, support strategic planning and develop meaningful financial insight that helps leaders make better decisions. Alongside this, you'll lead and develop a small team, helping create a high-performing and collaborative culture

How you’ll help us make health happen

As our FP&A Manager , you'll:

- Provide financial insight and analysis across Bupa's functional and central cost base.
- Deliver reporting and analysis on costs, trends, performance measures and total cost of ownership.
- Lead the continuous improvement and automation of management reporting, reducing manual processes and improving self-service reporting capabilities.
- Manage service fee and recharge reporting, ensuring methodologies are applied consistently and clearly communicated.
- Support forecasting, planning and budgeting activities in line with business requirements and timelines.
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate with reporting, controls and finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information.
- Support the delivery of annual and three-year planning processes.
- Maintain oversight of service fee and recharge-related risks, controls and process documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle planning and forecasting processes.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, supporting capability building and succession planning.
- Deliver training and guidance to cost centre managers on financial processes, policies and responsibilities.
- Monitor compliance with internal financial and procurement policies and provide clear reporting on outcomes

Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role

- We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong analytical skills with a passion for continuous improvement and people leadership.
- Qualified Accountant is essential – please list your qualification on your application
- Previous experience within a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) environment is required
- Experience delivering regular and ad hoc reporting for senior or executive stakeholders.
- Strong management accounting and cost analysis experience.
- Experience working within regulated industries, financial services or healthcare would be beneficial.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience improving processes through automation and technology.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to coach and develop others.
- A proactive, solution-focused and adaptable approach.
- Experience using Oracle or similar enterprise finance systems.
