- GENERAL OBJECTIVE

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing physical, chemical, and performance testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished adhesive products. This role ensures reliable test execution, accurate data generation, and compliance with laboratory methods, specifications, and safety standards.

- SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

- Execute and adhere to all EHS requirements, maintain a safe work environment, and follow internal safety rules and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Participate in and promote good housekeeping practices throughout the plant and laboratory.
- 50%: Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished adhesives.
- 25%: Prepare samples according to defined procedures. Manage retention samples where applicable. 10%: Maintain proper labeling, traceability, and sample identification.
- 25%: Record test results accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with data integrity and documentation practices. Report abnormal results or deviations immediately.
- Assist in troubleshooting process or product quality issues. Support validation trials and process adjustments. Collaborate with Quality, R&D, and Production teams.
