About this role

Feasibility Lead
At ICON Strategic Solutions, you will work in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON’s global expertise.

As the world’s largest FSP organisation, with over 90 sponsor partnerships, we offer stability, career development and a collaborative environment where your work contributes to the development of treatments that benefit patients worldwide.

What You Will Do:

Country strategy and feasibility assessment

- Lead country selection strategy developing data-driven recommendations on country mix, site allocation, and enrollment distribution

- Oversee CRO completion of design and execution of feasibility assessments including protocol-specific feasibility questionnaires, competitive landscape and trial-density analyses, epidemiology and standard-of-care review, and regulatory and start-up timeline mapping by country.

- Pressure-test enrollment assumptions by triangulating internal performance data, external intelligence sources, and direct site and investigator input.

Site identification and selection

- Build and maintain a curated, indication-specific site and investigator landscape across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, including academic centers, specialty networks, and high-performing private practices.

- Lead site identification and qualification, coordinating with CRO partners to run pre-study assessments and translating findings into transparent, criteria-based selection recommendations.

- Track and manage site performance history — enrollment rates, data quality, inspection and audit history, screen-failure patterns, and startup cycle times — and feed that history into future selection decisions.

Data, intelligence, and reporting

- Maintain feasibility metrics and enrollment
- Present feasibility findings, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly— including where the data is thin and what assumption is carrying the risk.

Cross-functional and vendor partnership

- Serve as the feasibility point of contact for assigned programs, partnering with study teams from concept through first-patient-in.

- Manage feasibility and site intelligence vendors and CRO feasibility teams — setting scope, holding quality and timeline standards, and reviewing deliverables critically.

- Partner with Patient Advocacy and Recruitment on patient-finding, referral pathway, and site-support strategies for indications where the eligible population is scarce or highly competed.

Your Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, public health, or a related field.

- 5+ years of clinical operations experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO, with extensive experience in country and site feasibility oversight

- Therapeutic experience: Experience in Immunology highly preferred (dermatology, GI - nice to have)

- Demonstrated ownership of country selection and/or site selection recommendations for global studies, with the analytical work to support them.

- Strong quantitative skills — comfortable building enrollment models and country scorecards in Excel and working with trial-landscape and real-world data platforms (e.g., Citeline/Informa, IQVIA, TriNetX, ClinicalTrials.gov, EU CTIS).

- Working knowledge of ICH GCP, global regulatory and start-up requirements, and country-level submission and approval timelines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication — able to turn ambiguous data into a clear, defensible recommendation for a senior audience.
- Ability to manage multiple studies and shifting priorities in a fast-moving, lean organization

Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
