Job Description & Summary
Why Join PwC Ireland?
At PwC Ireland, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to building trust in society and solving our clients’ most complex challenges. Here, diverse teams collaborate across sectors and geographies to deliver innovative solutions that make a real difference.
We invest in your growth through continuous learning, leadership development, and access to cutting-edge technology, empowering you to shape your career and impact the future of business and society.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our leading Digital Risk and Resilience team. Reporting to the Digital Risk and Resilience partner, you will execute on or lead a team in the delivery of a broad portfolio of complex and strategic client engagements across multiple industries including financial services, aviation, energy and utilities, pharmaceuticals, asset and wealth management, telecommunications, social media, and technology.

Our Digital Risk and Resilience team supports Irish and global organisations in navigating IT, cybersecurity and third-party risk related challenges encountered as part of day-to-day operations. We help our clients be more resilient and prepare them to respond to disruptions caused by these risks materialising. We also support them to comply with regulatory obligations under regulations such as DORA.

As a Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of client engagements, manage and coach team members, and act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders. You will also help grow the practice, contributing to proposals, building relationships with existing clients, and developing our offerings as regulations like DORA continue to settle in.

What you will do:

- Advise clients on embedding digital, cyber and third-party risk management into their existing governance and risk frameworks.
- Lead engagements assessing, designing and improving clients' operational and digital resilience. For example: helping clients identify their critical or important business functions, carrying out business impact analyses and setting impact tolerances, running scenario testing, and developing response and recovery plans.
- Lead engagements assessing, designing and improving clients' operational and digital resilience, including identifying important business services and critical or important functions, carrying out business impact analyses, and setting and calibrating impact tolerances.
- Map the people, processes, technology, data, facilities and third parties that underpin important business functions; identify single points of failure, concentration risk and substitutability gaps; and translate mapping outputs into prioritised remediation roadmaps.
- Design and run severe-but-plausible scenario testing programmes, from desktop walkthroughs through to live simulations, covering cyber attack, third-party and cloud outage, data integrity and ransomware scenarios; evidence whether clients can remain within impact tolerance and report findings to boards and regulators.
- Support crisis simulation and tabletop exercises for senior stakeholders, including executive committees, boards and incident response teams designing injects and scenario narratives, chairing the exercise on the day, challenging decision-making in real time, and leading structured debriefs, lessons-learned reporting and tracking of resulting actions.
- Support clients with ICT third-party risk management, from due diligence and contractual compliance through to ongoing monitoring and exit planning.
- Help clients build and maintain DORA registers of information and prepare for ICT incident classification and regulatory reporting.
- Scope, coordinate and deliver internal audit reviews focused on technology, working alongside other teams such as our internal audit and cyber teams.
- Manage, review and develop junior team members, and support business development through proposals and thought leadership and building and maintaining client relationships.

Who we are looking for:

- 3 to 5 years' experience in digital risk, operational resilience, cybersecurity, or related fields within a professional services firm or large industry environment.
- In-depth knowledge of operational resilience frameworks and regulatory landscape including regulations such as DORA, NIS2, and sector-specific compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience of service mapping and dependency mapping, and of setting and testing against impact tolerances.
- Experience preferrable in designing and facilitating scenario tests and crisis simulation exercises, including with executive-level participants.
- Proven track record leading complex projects focused on areas such as ICT governance, third-party risk, cyber incident management, and control testing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing team performance, fostering collaboration, and mentoring diverse teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience advising senior executives;

- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, technology, computer science or similar fields;

- Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISK, ITIL, etc.) are desirable.
