Keep global supply chains moving by coordinating time-critical airfreight shipments of perishable goods.

Are you ready for a unique challenge in the world of airfreight logistics? As a Freight Forwarder Airfreight, Perishables, you play a key role in ensuring fresh products such as fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish reach their destination on time and in perfect condition.
Every shipment is different and requires precision, flexibility, and a strong customer focus.

In this role, you will join our dedicated Perishables team and work in a permanent night shift (starting between 18:00 and 22:00).
You will coordinate export shipments, maintain close contact with customers and partners, and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence, data quality, and compliance.

Tasks

- You coordinate daily airfreight export shipments for a diverse international customer portfolio;

- You plan incoming cargo flows in close collaboration with subcontractors and logistics partners;

- You manage the transportation of perishable goods while ensuring speed, accuracy, and product integrity;

- You provide customers with timely updates and deliver excellent customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle;

- You maintain high data quality and accurate administration within operational systems;

- You collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations;

- You ensure full compliance with all safety, security, and airfreight regulations;

Are you the perfect fit?

- You have initial experience in freight forwarding, preferably within airfreight, or hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Transport & Logistics;

- You are willing to work in a permanent night shift and can work shifts between 18:00 and 04:12, including one weekend per month between 06:00 and 14:00;

- You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English;

- You hold a valid category B driving licence;

- You are accurate, customer-focused, stress-resistant, proactive, and enjoy solving problems in a dynamic logistics environment;
