Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking an Inpatient Nursing Supervisor to deliver the best possible direction of care in LRH’s patient focused setting.

SUMMARY:

Oversees patient care in the Medical Surgical and Critical Care Units assuring that services are provided in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner that enhances patient, staff, and physician satisfaction. Key player in developing and implementing competencies, quality monitoring, educating and teaching and serving as an ongoing resource. Assists leadership in overall management of the unit and serves as the primary resource for clinical skills and expert knowledge to nursing staff.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree or above in nursing.  Bachelor’s degree in nursing within 5 years of hire preferred. Two years of hospital nursing experience required. Two years of supervisory nursing experience preferred.

CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE:

Current Iowa RN license. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Mandatory Reporter or obtaining in accordance with the hospital Education Policy.
