Position Overview :
The Training & Development Specialist partners closely with Operations, HR, Quality and Engineering and is responsible for developing a training curriculum and materials, creating training material content, selecting appropriate delivery mechanisms, delivering training and monitoring training effectiveness for the general workforce and targeted areas to include but not limited to: Discipline-specific competency training on general workplace standards, processes, and tools; Training on leadership and management development.
- Identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Design and developing instructor-led and e-learning programs using instructional design tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate or comparable software.
- Develop and maintain an annual learning and development plan aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Maintains the facility’s training plans, curricula, certification requirements, training records, and competency documentation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support cross-training and employee development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and employee development.
- Coordinate training related to safety, quality systems, manufacturing processes, equipment, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and other process-improvement activities, when appropriate.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, employee feedback, performance data, and manager feedback.
- Product regular training reports and metrics for management.
Qualifications Summary:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methods required.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, training, HR, organizational development or a related field.
- Strong project-management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
- Preferred experience with a Learning Management System.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong instructional design and adult-learning principles.
- Ability to translate business and operational needs into effective learning solutions.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.


Pay Range: USD 65000 - 75000 Annually

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
