About this role

Veriday is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics CRM Developer / Technical Architect to join our client team based in Toronto for a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

This role combines hands-on development with responsibility for solution architecture and technical leadership. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions, translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.

What you will do:-

- Lead the technical design of Dynamics CRM solutions, including application architecture, data models, integrations, security, and deployment approaches.

- Assess business requirements and conduct fit-gap analysis to determine the appropriate use of standard functionality, configuration, and custom development.

- Evaluate existing CRM applications and recommend improvements to performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.

- Prepare solution designs, architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation estimates.

- Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including tables/entities, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and business process flows.

- Develop custom plug-ins, workflow extensions, client-side scripts, and integrations using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and supported Microsoft APIs.

- Build and enhance model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate flows to support business process automation.

- Implement CRM functionality for customer and stakeholder records, application or case tracking, approvals, task management, and notifications.

- Develop maintainable solutions using supported extension methods and appropriate platform capabilities.

- Design and implement integrations between Dynamics CRM and enterprise applications using REST APIs, Dataverse Web API, and relevant Azure integration services.

- Support data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality improvements.

- Manage solution packaging, version control, environment configuration, and deployments across development, testing, and production.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.

- Perform unit testing, support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and resolve defects.

- Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

What do you need to succeed:-

- 10 years of software development experience , including 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience .

- Demonstrated experience serving as a technical lead or solution architect while remaining actively involved in development.

- Strong expertise in Dynamics CRM configuration, customization, extensibility, and enterprise implementation.

- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dynamics SDK, Dataverse Web API, and FetchXML .

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, model-driven Power Apps, and Power Automate .

- Experience designing enterprise integrations and working with relevant Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Service Bus.

- Strong understanding of CRM data modeling, security, performance optimization, and solution management.

- Experience with source control, automated deployments, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.

- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical designs and deliver solutions through the full development lifecycle.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

- Ability to attend the client’s Toronto office 3 days per week .
