Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining guarding and safety equipment on all production lines.
- Responsible for Lock out/Tag out procedures on all lines that are worked upon, which includes isolating all forms of energy to the line and placing lock with photo ID.
- Depending on the plant, may support and assist preventative maintenance process on the shift.
- Contribute and assist in line commissioning after maintenance/process events.
- Assist and participate with other plant projects as needed.
- Operate in a manner that provides value to the team.
- Interact with vendors and equipment manufacturers as needed.
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position, required
- Completion of two-year Maintenance Certification course, preferred
- Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
- Forklift experience required or the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
- Work schedule flexibility to accommodate needs of the business
- Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems; Strong background in
manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment; Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus; Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus; Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally; Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities; Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences.
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
