Part Time Afternoon Driver

St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is hiring a part time after school bus & van driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekday afternoon schedule during the school year. No CDL required.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to approximately 4:30 PM , following the Charleston County School District calendar.
Starting Pay: Pay range $17.00 - $18.50, based on experience
Responsibilities include:
- Safely transport children in a 14-passenger mini-bus, or a 7-passenger van
- Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a safe, positive environment for passengers
- Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and school personnel
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old to drive a 14-passenger bus OR be at least 18 years old to drive a 7-passenger van
- Valid driver license
- Must maintain a driving record that meets the agency's vehicle insurance eligibility requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to maintain a consistent Monday - Friday afternoon schedule
- Experience working with children or youth is preferred
