About the Role
The Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Solution Architect serves as a trusted technical advisor and key member of Lenovo's field sales organization. In this customer-facing role, you will help drive revenue growth by designing and positioning innovative data center and edge solutions that address business and technical challenges for enterprise customers.
You will establish trusted relationships across customer organizations, from technical teams to executive stakeholders, while working closely with Lenovo sales teams, business partners, and strategic alliances to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical decision makers, business stakeholders, and executive leadership within customer accounts.
- Design and architect data center and edge solutions utilizing Lenovo's infrastructure portfolio and strategic technology partnerships.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and executive briefings tailored to customer requirements.
- Partner with account teams to drive revenue growth and achieve or exceed sales objectives.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and translate customer business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Author and support technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
- Manage proof-of-concept (POC) and proof-of-technology (POT) engagements to validate solutions and accelerate sales cycles.
- Provide technical leadership during solution deployment and ensure successful customer adoption.
- Collaborate with partners, systems integrators, and channel organizations to develop and execute regional sales strategies.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and market trends to provide innovative solutions for customers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related technical pre-sales role.
- Proven success supporting and winning enterprise server, networking, storage, or data center opportunities.
- Ability to travel to customer locations and industry events as needed (primarily throughout the Eastern United States).
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.

Work Location & Travel
This is a customer-facing role that requires regular travel throughout the territory to support customer engagements, partner activities, and industry events.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 164,960–252,908 USD . Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
