GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under general supervision, performs customer service work in the Food and Beverage department at the Cocoa Beach Country Club and clubhouse. Provide beverage service to members and guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
This is a part-time position starting at a pay rate of $14.00 per hour with tips. This position will require working weekends and holidays.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes and club preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and surfaces.
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Process payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) System.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote club events and/or specials.
- Ensure compliance with state and local alcohol service laws.
- Assist with food and beverage orders for events and coordinate with staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school, and 3 to 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations preferred ; or any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED
TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including typewriters, cash registers, calculators, etc. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. However, if the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
