Salary range: An annual salary range of $200,000 - $235,000 is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.

What You’ll Do:

The Senior Vice President / Managing Director – Asset-Based Lending is responsible for originating and growing new ABL relationships, with a primary focus on transactions of $10 million and larger. This individual will source both direct and referral-driven opportunities, develop strong market relationships, and build a profitable portfolio while operating within the Bank’s credit culture and risk appetite.

- Originate and grow new Asset-Based Lending (ABL) relationships, with a primary focus on transactions of $10 million and larger.

- Source both direct and referral-driven opportunities to build a profitable ABL portfolio.

- Develop strong market relationships with private equity sponsors, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, turnaround professionals, and other deal intermediaries.

- Structure and close transactions consistent with the Bank’s credit culture, policies, procedures, and underwriting standards.

- Partner with underwriting and portfolio management teams to maintain strong credit and collateral discipline across the portfolio.

What Do You Need?

- Proven track record of sourcing, closing, and growing a successful ABL portfolio.

- Demonstrated ability to originate middle-market ABL transactions of $10MM+ through both direct calling efforts and referral sources.

- Strong network of private equity sponsors, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, turnaround professionals, and other deal intermediaries.

- Deep knowledge of the ABL marketplace, industry trends, competitors, and lending structures.

- Ability to structure transactions consistent with Bank policies, procedures, and underwriting standards.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

- Strong credit and collateral knowledge with experience working collaboratively with underwriting and portfolio management teams.

- Consistently achieves business development, portfolio growth, and profitability objectives.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated business developer with an established market presence, exceptional prospecting skills, and a demonstrated ability to generate high-quality ABL opportunities while maintaining strong credit discipline.

Technology Skills:

- Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank’s applications.

- Familiarity with AI and automation tools that support productivity, workflow efficiency, and client engagement.
