The People & Culture Leader for ISB translates ISB’s business strategy into a measurable people strategy driving organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning and culture across a global, matrixed business unit. Combining strategic and operational dimensions, the leader acts as a true business partner to the ISB organization and a trusted advisor to its leaders

The role sits within DXC’s People & Culture organization reporting to the Chief People Officer and is dedicated to the ISB business unit. It operates in a matrix: partnering day-to-day with the ISB leadership team on business and people priorities, while connecting into the wider P&C functions Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Learning, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, People Analytics, DE&I and HR Operations/Centres of Excellence — to deliver a joined-up strategy for ISB.

Location: based in Charleston, South Carolina, with a hybrid work environment. We are open to candidates across the tri-county area — Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

•     Define and own the end-to-end People & Culture strategy and roadmap for ISB, directly aligned to ISB’s commercial objectives and DXC’s enterprise people strategy.

•     Act as trusted advisor to the President of ISB and senior leaders on organizational design, workforce strategy, succession, leadership effectiveness and change.

•     Drive strategic workforce planning for a global, delivery-intensive business  anticipating capability needs across software engineering, insurance domain and BPS operations, including the offshore/borderless workforce.

Operational

•     Lead the day-to-day P&C agenda for ISB talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, compensation and incentive cycles, employee relations and retention ensuring consistent, compliant and high-quality execution globally.

•     Deliver talent development, leadership coaching and succession programmes that strengthen the ISB leadership bench and critical insurance/technology capabilities.

•     Own employee engagement and culture for ISB run listening mechanisms (e.g. eNPS/engagement surveys) and translate insight into measurable action plans.

•     Lead organizational change, restructuring, and integration/M&A people activity (due diligence, transition and onboarding) with minimal disruption to delivery and client SLAs.

•     Use people analytics to inform decisions, track the health of the organization, and demonstrate quantifiable P&C impact to business leaders.

Collaborative

•     Manage the relationship with the President of ISB and key leaders as a strategic partner, bringing people considerations into business and investment decisions.

•     Work closely with all functions within the P&C organization Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, People Analytics and HR Operations to drive the overall P&C strategy for ISB and mobilize Centres of Excellence behind ISB priorities.

•     Partner across geographies and functions (Finance, Legal, Delivery, Operations) to ensure people plans are commercially grounded, compliant and executable globally.

Required Qualification & Experience

•     Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, HR or related field (advanced degree / HR certification such as SPHR/SHRM-SCP a plus).

•     Proven HR Business Partner experience at a senior level in a global, technology- and services-intensive environment; insurance, software and/or BPS/BPO industry exposure strongly preferred.

•     Experience supporting an offshore / borderless delivery workforce and managing people cost, workforce planning and incentive/compensation programmes.

•     Trusted advisor to C-level and division/business-unit presidents on strategic, financial and operating issues.

•     Both strategic and operationally hands-on — able to set strategy and personally drive execution.

•     Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across cultures and geographies.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $139,200 - $289,000.
