Job Description:
The Specialist, Program Management supports the Next Generation Jammer Low Band (NGJ ‑ LB) Program Performance Office by coordinating program management activities, strengthening execution discipline, and enabling structured program governance. This role manages critical program information, facilitates program reviews, and drives process automation using the Palantir Foundry platform. The position supports program alignment across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), enabling informed decision ‑ making through data ‑ driven insights and consistent communication .
Essential Functions:
- Establish and maintain program structure, processes, and operating rhythm across IPTs and support organizations.
- Develop and refine program management processes to improve coordination and scalability.
- Review and monitor program plans, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and program documentation.
- Support execution toward program financial and operational objectives.
- Maintain situational awareness across IPTs, identifying interdependencies and risks requiring resolution.
- Deploy and maintain program ‑ wide visibility tools, including Palantir Foundry, Power BI, Jira, Microsoft Teams, and SAP Web Intelligence.
- Build automated workflows and integrated data pipelines through Palantir Foundry.
- Manage preparation and coordination for internal, executive, and customer program reviews.
- Facilitate cross ‑ functional collaboration to address program challenges.
- Travel: Up to 25 percent.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance required Day One.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience coordinating cross ‑ functional teams or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Minimum of three years of experience using program management tools or systems such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Minimum of two years of experience preparing or supporting program briefings, reviews, or status updates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Palantir Foundry, SAP, Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
- Experience preparing executive‑level or customer‑facing briefings.
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or Integrated Master Plan (IMP) development.
- Experience supporting proposal development or Basis‑of‑Estimate (BOE) preparation.
- Experience supporting production readiness or manufacturing readiness assessments.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience preferred.
- Knowledge of contract types such as Firm‑Fixed‑Price (FFP), Cost‑Plus‑Incentive‑Fee (CPIF), or Fixed‑Price‑Incentive‑Fee (FPIF).
