CO-OP/INTERNS MRO Maintenance Trainee/Apprentice/VIE

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals for a CO-OP/Internship/VIE opportunity within our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) team. This role provides hands-on experience and foundational training in industrial maintenance within a leading automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist experienced technicians with routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
* Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues under supervision.
* Participate in the repair and replacement of faulty components, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
* Support the MRO team in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance.
* Adhere to all company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
* Gain exposure to various manufacturing processes and technologies.
* Complete assigned projects and tasks to enhance practical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong interest in industrial automation, machinery, and maintenance processes.
* Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or pneumatic principles.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
* Availability for a full-time CO-OP/Internship/VIE period.
