About this role
Schedule: 40+ hours per week, Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays
Work Location: Multiple locations
Loveland Excavating and Paving are searching for an EXPERIENCED Dump Truck driver. You must have 2 - 3 years’ experience driving a dump truck , hauling dirt, rock and/or asphalt. Please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
Class A and B - Manual Operators Only :
- Drive and operate dump trucks delivering material to job sites (concrete, asphalt, or miscellaneous materials).
- Pick up material, verify load for accuracy, and deliver as instructed.
- Must be able to utilize navigation and road maps.
- Daily inspection of trucks.
Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; always comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Report any issues with the vehicle to your supervisor immediately.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
- Follow all Traffic laws/ DOT regulations.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds.
- Able to pass random drug tests.
- Clean driving record.
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
- Listening and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Dependability.
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:
- CDL – Class A or Class B - Manual Transmission
- 21 years or older
