Location: Atlanta, GA – Onsite 5 Days/Week
Duration: 3-Month Contract, with possibility of extension

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with 4–8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake , with the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights.

The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, analyzing large datasets, developing dashboards and reports, performing data validation, and supporting analytics initiatives across cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business insights.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Use Python, Pandas, and NumPy for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.
- Work extensively with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Create ad-hoc reports and analytical solutions to support business and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams on analytics and data initiatives.
- Support predictive analytics, AI-driven insights, business performance monitoring, and forecasting activities.
- Document business rules, KPI definitions, data requirements, metrics, and analytical processes.
- Present analytical findings, trends, and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, analytics processes, and self-service BI capabilities.

Required Skills

- 4–8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.
- Strong Python skills, particularly Pandas and NumPy .
- Strong SQL and data analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and dashboard/report development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake – Must Have .
- Advanced Excel and data reporting skills.
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and analytical data structures.
- Experience with statistical analysis and interpretation of business metrics.
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, and quality-checking skills.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Snowflake and Databricks .
- Exposure to Generative AI, AI-powered analytics, and Natural Language Querying .
- Knowledge of PySpark and large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data governance.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with Streamlit and Jupyter Notebooks .
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, or other self-service analytics platforms.
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering , or a related field.
