YogaSix Columbia is an independently owned and operated franchise studio in Maryland, and we are looking for a motivated, organized, and sales-focused Sales & Member Experience Lead to join our team.
About the Role
The Sales & Member Experience Lead is a hands-on, full-time front desk and sales role for someone who excels at connecting with people, building relationships, driving membership sales, and creating an exceptional studio experience.
At YogaSix, our front desk sales team members are called Wellness Advisors . The Sales & Member Experience Lead is an experienced Wellness Advisor with additional responsibility for sales execution, Wellness Advisor training, membership administration, studio supplies, and day-to-day operational support.
This position is approximately 40 hours per week , with about 32 hours focused on front desk and sales responsibilities and approximately 8 hours of protected administrative time each week .
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Member Experience
- Welcome and check in members and guests and create a warm, welcoming studio experience.
- Complete new guest registration and waivers.
- Build relationships with prospective members and confidently discuss introductory offers and membership options.
- Process memberships, packages, and retail sales.
- Answer calls, texts, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain complete and accurate member and prospect notes in ClubReady.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, daily checklists, and cleaning responsibilities.
- Help drive studio membership goals through consistent follow-up and strong sales conversations.
- Encourage guests to book their next class and guide them through the introductory offer process.
Sales Follow-Up & Lead Conversion
- Monitor lead follow-up activity and response times.
- Help ensure every lead is contacted and documented.
- Identify missed sales opportunities and communicate sales trends.
- Reinforce consistent follow-up and conversion practices.
- Lead by example through strong personal sales performance.
Wellness Advisor Training & Support
- Train new Wellness Advisors on days two and three following their initial training.
- Answer Wellness Advisor questions and demonstrate procedures in the moment.
- Provide refresher training when procedures, promotions, or studio processes change.
- Identify recurring training needs and areas where additional support may be helpful.
- Help communicate daily sales priorities and goals to the team.
Membership Administration
- Process membership freezes and cancellations according to established policy.
- Administer insurance memberships.
- Follow up on past-due accounts.
- Process approved refunds and membership exceptions within established guidelines.
- Escalate charge disputes and significant member concerns when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation for membership changes and requests.
Studio Operations & Supplies
- Monitor routine studio supplies and place approved orders.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Maintain the weekly Wellness Advisor announcements sheet and daily opportunities sheet.
- Conduct regular studio walk-throughs.
- Report facility, equipment, and technology concerns.
- Welcome new members and support member events.
- Help keep the front desk and studio organized, stocked, and guest-ready.
Hiring, Events & Content Support
- Participate in Wellness Advisor interviews and provide candidate feedback.
- Capture authentic in-studio content for the Social Media Coordinator.
- Support grassroots and community events.
- Help ensure leads generated from community events receive proper follow-up.

Qualifications
Required
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, boutique fitness, or a related environment.
- Confidence starting conversations with new people and discussing membership options.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Comfortable helping train and support peers.
- Ability to learn and follow established systems and procedures.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred
- Previous Wellness Advisor experience with YogaSix.
- Experience working in a boutique fitness or wellness environment.
- ClubReady experience.
- Previous experience training or onboarding team members.
Schedule
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Approximately 32 hours per week focused on front desk and sales responsibilities.
- Approximately 8 hours per week of protected administrative time.
- Days, evening and weekend availability required.
- Administrative time scheduled in predictable blocks throughout the week.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds, including yoga props, retail deliveries, and studio supplies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and team members in person and by phone.
