About this role

Essential Job Functions

- Assists in Improving, developing and designing individual project processes and procedures consistent with company goals and objectives

- Handle assigned accounts daily, communicate with customers, and promptly address escalations

- Oversee projects for the business according to the following criteria:

A combination of two or more dimensions:

- Length: >50 ft

- Width: >13 ft

- Height: >13 ft

- OR weight exceeds 90,000 lbs.

- Cargo Value exceeds $1,000,000

- Develop relationships within the Crane Worldwide network to uncover needs for truckload and OOG capacity solutions

- Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the customer to ensure prompt resolution (which may include nights and weekends)

- Facilitates any deviations with management and Client through ongoing communication.

- Actively participates in the sharing of best practices and organizational skill development.

- Assure that all pre-alerts from origin offices are assembled and completed based on SOP requirements

- Transmit all pre-alerts to the customer for all shipments

- Send all required reports to customers on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis as required

- Responsible for managing customer generated reports and assuring accuracy

- Other duties assigned

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances.

- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.

- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

- This position may require Attendance and Presence at the work site.

- Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.

Education & Experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Skilled in Heavy Haul equipment and related regulations.

- Strong understanding of US Geography

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

- Works well in a team environment

- Ability to establish positive working relationships and work as a team.

- Ability to effectively communication with all levels of staff and management.
