Role Overview

In this leadership role, you will help shape and execute environmental, health, and safety programs across North America. You will work closely with operations leaders and employees to reduce risk, improve compliance, and build consistent EHS practices that support daily work and long-term performance.

What will you do?

- Lead EHS strategy, programs, and compliance activities for Chillers North America across manufacturing, distribution, and field operations.
- Support alignment with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and internal Zero Harm expectations.
- Develop and deliver training on fire prevention, lockout/tagout, fall protection, chemical handling, and other site-specific EHS topics.
- Lead incident and accident reporting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up activities to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct GEMBA walks, safety walks, coaching, and risk assessments to strengthen day-to-day performance.
- Review and maintain environmental operating permits and related records for Air, Water, and Waste.
- Partner with operations leaders to maintain accurate EHS data, reports, and documentation and to drive continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Success managing EHS programs across multi-site manufacturing and distribution locations in North America.
- Experience leading audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Experience training managers and employees on safety procedures and regulatory expectations.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to work across operations, engineering, and field teams.
- Ability to organize data, reports, and compliance records with a high level of accuracy.

Nice to Have

- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 9001 management systems.
- Familiarity with waste characterization, environmental reporting, and regulatory submissions.
- Experience coaching plant and field EHS professionals in a multi-site environment.
