Job Summary
Supply Distribution & Inventory Specialist

Help keep essential operations moving by ensuring medical and non-medical supplies reach the right teams accurately and on time. In this hands-on role, you will manage incoming deliveries, inventory, storage, documentation, and distribution for on-site and off-site customers while partnering with departments to meet their supply needs.

Patient care: This position does not provide direct patient care.

What You’ll Do

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, packaging lists, and order criteria; receive, sign for, inspect, and unload shipments.

• Prepare processed packages for scheduled carrier pick-ups and maintain complete, accurate STAT pick-up, vehicle maintenance, and dispatch logs.

• Record items received and delivered, recipients’ responses, supply transactions, distribution activity, and inventory information.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through stock checks, usage tracking, expiration-date monitoring, and proper stock rotation.

• Receive and process departmental supply requests, coordinating timely distribution to on-site and off-site locations.

• Organize storage areas and help manage and track equipment, including medical devices, instruments, and reusable supplies.

• Follow established quality-control processes, including visual inspections, product-specification verification, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience cannot substitute for education.

Experience
0–1 year of warehouse/receiving experience required. 2–3 years of driving experience with an excellent driving record preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with hospital medical and non-medical supplies; basic knowledge of inventory control, supply chain, and warehouse operations; strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills; sound judgment and ability to follow verbal and written instructions, manage changing priorities under pressure, and perform basic math and data analysis.
